Born in France and raised in Israel, Esther came to Canada in 1966 and soon after, her career as a sculptor commenced. She has exhibited in Montreal, Toronto, and New York; and her sculpture, “Reach for the Stars,” in memory of the Challanger disaster, is on permanent exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Her sculptures exude a raw, primeval energy evident in the male/female form, so prevalent in her works. Esther Topaz’s sculptures have a flow and sensuality, indulging the viewer in positive, uplifting sensations.
